Registration Fee and 2009/2010 Budget

 

The registration fee for the Scouting year 2009-2010 was determined by a unanimous vote at an adult committee leaders meeting a few months ago. Boys under 18 have a registration fee of $115. Adult 18 and older have a registration fee of $15 for the 2009/2010 Scouting year.

The Heart of America Council charges us $15 per person for registration, so the adult fee is a direct pass-thru.  The $100 for each boy pays for all of the regular budget items that it takes to run the Troop for one year.

Setting the registration fee at this level allows us to plan on using all fundraising proceeds to offset the cost of summer camp at Bartle and High Adventure Camping.

The registration payment deadline is November 30, 2009.  It is important to meet this deadline.  The Troop could get into a cash flow crunch if the registration fees are not paid by this date.  For those who couldn’t attend the meeting and/or review the meeting minutes, below is the approved budget.
